    i have, i don’t even know if it’s big blog or not, but here are my stats:

    It’s slow because you’re trying to access so many things at once when loading your page, which includes alot of database information being accessed not to mention you have like videos page which also take time to load. Your server also may not be that fast.

    All this will contribute to your “slowness”.

    If you want to test, just install a fresh copy of WP on a new DB and see how fast it loads compared to this one, that will give you a reasonable estimate of why it’s slow.

    I am having the same problem but with the admin, even as I type this to submit an article it has been running for almost 15 min now “Loading..” it is dog slow.

    I am using 2.6.2 with my own dedicated servers, the servers are very fast due to the nature of our main site which handle thousands of requests per second. hence it is definitely not a server issue or amount of content issue.

    god knows what it is though, but certainly a royal pain in the rear end.

    I have now finished typing this, which has taken a good 3 min, and guess what. Admin is still loading sending my article.
