Your server is taking a looong time to respond to the initial request.
Look at this Pingdom report and you’ll see what I mean. That’s often caused by a less than optimal server configuration or the server is very busy.
If you have access to the server configuration then consider giving this a read.

It’s really dependent upon your host’s OS and you have to have root access to be able to make those changes.
Show that link to your host provider, perhaps they can lend a hand.
