WordPress will not display through VPN

    I am connecting to a cloud service through a vpn that adds me to the clouds subnet. But the cloud service does not link me to the wan so i have no internet on my host. The cloud hosts a VM lamp wordpress server that serves the site to the wan. My problem is that when a host from the cloud internally (with out a vpn connection) connects to the wordpress site locally with its local ip it displays correctly. But if i do the same through the vpn it displays only the text… can anyone help me with this issue? thank you

    Sounds like some kind of addressing problem that appears at the VPN.

    I’d ask the VPN provider for help.

    I have contacted my vpn provider and when they check, what I mean is when they type the local IP of server it displays correctly but when i do exactly the same thing through the vpn the website does not display correctly. Could the reason be that i’m connecting through vpn that has no connection to the wan/internet so display of the WordPress site is corrupted?
    What I mean is that would a wordpress site display correctly if the host that is serving the page is offline/internet and you connect to it through another host on the same subnet locally?
    I assume it would display correctly
