WordPress wont populate first name using LDAP

    My wordpress installation creates users, but just won’t populate the first name when they login for the first time; which is LDAP authenticated. I need the first name for the site greeting. I am using wpDirAuth Version 1.7.6.

    I hope I have been able to explain my problem well enough. I am not very well versed with WordPress.

    The issue has been resolved. We didn’t have a givenname attribute in our LDAP config. The plugin maps the first name to the givenname.
