WordPress.com for Database Sites

    Does using WordPress.com as a WordPress hosting provider provide the same features (such as a database, PHP, MySQL features, etc.) that we would get by hosting a WordPress site on another hosting platform? I typically think of WordPress.com sites as being strictly for people’s blogs.
