wordpress.com stats combining subdomains/domain-extensions

Would it be possible to have future versions of the WordPress.com Stats plugin allow two seemingly discrete blogs to feed a combined stats report? In my case guidegatineau.ca is BuddyPress and also hosts guidegatineau.ca/news. These are two faces of the same website and would like to be counted together.
