WordPress.com to ww.wp.xz.cn via Dreamhost: wp-admin/install.php not working

    I have a blog on WordPress.com with a purchased domain name.

    Want to transfer the blog to ww.wp.xz.cn; exported the content to XML and signed up with Dreamhost.

    Did one-click install to the purchased domain name, Advanced version, Dreamhost created the database.

    Updated domain name DNS from WordPress.com to Dreamhost.

    Dreamhost sent me an email saying the next step was to go to my domain name/wp-admin/install.php.

    when I clicked that link it autodirected me back to my WordPress.com blog saying “no posts matched my criteria.”

    How to fix?
