Words for elements to exclude

    Hello
    In the “Words for elements to exclude field” I have put the phrase “Athens Boat Tour” because I don’t want it to be translated into any text. The problem is that in any paragraph that Athens Boat Tour finds, it does not translate the entire paragraph. I also tried in the “Words for elements to exclude by language (Dictionary)” but the same problem occurs there too.

    Hello,

    the “Words for elements to exclude” feature works by excluding elements that contains the specified phrase, not just the individual words themselves.
    For this reason, when “Athens Boat Tour” is found inside a paragraph, that whole paragraph is skipped from translation.

    The same logic applies to the “Words for elements to exclude by language (Dictionary)” option as well.

    Wrap “Athens Boat Tour” in a dedicated HTML element (for example a <span>, <strong>, etc optionally with a specific class) and exclude that element instead.

    As an alternative, if you use an AI with a prompt like ChatGPT, you can specify within the AI message to not translate “Athens Boat Tour”. With Google AI this is not available.
