Same here. Renaming the plugin folder got admin page working again, at the cost of no calendar info on my site. Is anyone from the Simple Calendar team reading this?

This conflict arose from a separate plugin’s recent update around the same time (W3 Total Cache). They just released another update and it’s now resolved. Details in above support threads.
