Regarding the widgets not showing properly in the editor until you refresh, this is not typically expected behavior, but it can sometimes happen due to caching or minor conflicts.
You may try the following steps first:
- Clear Elementor cache
Go to Elementor → Tools → General → Clear Files & Data
- Clear Essential Add ons
Dashboard → Essential Addons → Tools → Regenerate Assets
- Clear site/browser cache
If you’re using a caching plugin (such as WP Rocket, LiteSpeed, etc.), please clear its cache and also try accessing the editor using an incognito/private browser.
- Check for plugin conflicts
Try temporarily disabling other plugins (especially cache or optimization plugins) to see if the issue still occurs.

- A screenshot or short recording of the issue
- The active theme and list of caching plugins (if any)
