Works, yet bad coding

I’ve been using this plugin for the first time and it’s been running for 3 weeks now without issues. Now all of a sudden the plugin couldn’t connect to twitter and therefore stopped the execution of all other code! Which broke a great deal of my template/interaction.

I therefore recommend you to removeor die('whatever string') from your code on line 51, and just check if the connection was made afterwards and if not return a simple error-string or something!
