WP 1.2.2 – Problems with archives

Hi,

I am still running WP 1.2.2. I am having problems with the archives, i.e. they are not present.

I am pretty sure that the archive function worked a couple of months ago. I haven’t checked it since then. However, today I wanted to search for a posting on my own blog and couldn’t get to the archives, no matter if I used the calender, categories or months to get there.

I get a 404 message that the link http://mydomain.tld/blog/archives does not exist.

I checked my WP installation folder, and indeed, apart from the 2004 folder (imported former entries from blogger) and January and February 2004 there are no other archives present.

Any idea what this could be?

I am using a couple of plug-ins to prevent spam, but I haven’t touched any of the other code *at all*.

Another question: would an upgrade to 1.5 make the archives re-appear?
