WP 3.0 cannot migrate site from testing server

    I put up the site on one server (my account) then when I move it to a customer account, the wp-admin page refuses to work. It tries to access the old server and ignores the new one.

    Is there a fix for this?

    Did you find and replace in the database or the export file and replace the old URLs with the new ones before the move?

    Also check Blog URL and WordPress URL are correct the in the wp_options database table (use PHPMyAdmin).

    I’ll leave this here in case anyone comes along but I’ve decided to scrap a day and a halfs work and just start over in v2.9.2.

    IMO v3 should have been tested better. There are way too any bugs being reported that should have never been an issue.

    I know it’s exciting to roll out a new version but I need something that just works.

    @equalwebcreative I just followed the directions in the support base. there is no mention of doing that.
