I just looked into a fresh copy of WP3.0.1, and I don’t think there is such a file /wp-admin/edit-pages.php
That file was merged into edit.php in WordPress 3.0.
Then why does the Page->Edit link still point there? That fits the definition of ‘broken‘ in most dictionaries. 🙁
Where are you seeing Page -> Edit ?
When I look at my install, under the Pages menu, I have ‘Pages’ and ‘New’.
When I go to Pages and click on the edit link under the page, I have /wp-admin/post.php?post=2&action=edit
At a WAG, you have an incomplete upgrade. Delete the wp-admin and wp-includes folders from your server and upload a fresh copy from a fresh zip file.
Then why does the Page->Edit link still point there?
there is no “edit” submenu under Page.
Kinda hard to help if we don’t see the same thing.
Okay; From the Dashboard, left column (aka side bar)
Pages = http://slamlander.caselle-vpn.net/wp-admin/edit-pages.php = 404
Pages->Edit = http://slamlander.caselle-vpn.net/wp-admin/edit-pages.php = 404
Pages->Add New = http://slamlander.caselle-vpn.net/wp-admin/page-new.php = 404
I have no idea how to be more clear then that.

We all understand what you are saying, but he fact remains that your menu is not the 3.0.1 menu. You could have some cachine issues or an incomplete upgrade. Try re-uploading the 3.0.1 zip file. Also disable plugins to see if that changes things.
Is anyone having the same problem with wordpress 3.0.1 with not being able to manually update a modification to a Page? I’ve installed 3.0.1 and reinstalled 3.0.1 but still don’t have an ‘update’ button on the dashboard for my pages. The only option I have is to wait for the auto-update to kick in, then click off the page and choose to apply the most recent autosave.
can anyone help here? I’m fairly novice so am certainly not looking for the right easy fix.
