WP 3.8 Update – Missing Dashboard Menu Items

    I should never have updated this. I need to make some immediate changes to my site and after this update, half of my menu items are gone! I’m logged in as admin.

    My menu items are:
    Dashboard
    Posts
    Media
    Comments
    Profile
    Tools

    I’m missing Pages, Appearance, Plugins, Users and Settings!!!!
    WTH!?

    Hi npryor & judeabb … , thankyou for posting queries about missing dashboard icons (especially concerning no plugin option) ..

    I am having the exact same problem

    Would be great if a WP employee would help us … it is absolutely crazy that a supposed ‘upgrade’ to version 3.8 is actually worse than the previous one

    Is there any way we can notify WP staff ?

    Really confused now
