I think chigab means that the option/dropdown/button to add the calendar is not visible in the Visual Editor toolbar in the Page/Post editor for WP3.9. Same problem here.

There is no dropdown list, because there is only one calendar.
The shortcode should appear automatically, or you can add it yourself.

Thanks for the shortcode. Just to reiterate, the button does not show in the toolbar for WP3.9 page/post editing. If I revert to 3.8 the button shows fine and I can add using the button for the calendar. In 3.9 the button is not there.
This issue, is now fixed.
The version will soon be available for download.
