@neotrope Thanks for the info!
@radgeek Only your plugin causes a Fatal Error and engine failure!
Thanks for the heads up, and sorry you’re running into this issue. It looks like the most recent WordPress update includes an update to the SimplePie library, which unfortunately breaks the extensions that FWP makes. I should be able to take a look at this and issue a compatibility fix over this upcoming weekend.

@radgeek Will there be an update with a fix?
Yes. I have a preliminary fix ready on my test platform and I expect to be able to push the fix out for release within the next couple days.
Thanks for looking into this CJ
Pie throws WP HTTP Error: cURL error 6
and a bunch of 404s on working RSSs
Hope this report helps to resolve soon!
//THANKS
@bibliata , could you provide URLs of some examples of working RSS feeds where you’re getting cURL error 6 or a 404 response when you try to retrieve them using FWP? I’d be happy to run some tests on this while I am working on these issues. (This thread is fine, or you can e-mail me directly at [email protected] )
Hi all, the most recent release of FeedWordPress (2025.1211) is now available through the WordPress Plugin Repository (<https://ww.wp.xz.cn/plugins/feedwordpress/>). This is a compatibility fix point release, which should resolve the errors that you have been seeing after updating to WordPress version 6.9.
Let me know if the update process goes through for you, or if you need any help getting the new version in place.
@bibliata : Thanks, I will take a look at those URLs on my testing platform and see if I can figure out what might be going wrong for you.
Hi, CHuck
looks like you fixed it 🙂 THANK YOU!
Happy holidays 🙂

I can’t open some settings pages
/wp-admin/admin.php?page=feedwordpress/diagnostics-page.php
Errors. 502 Bad Gateway
nginx
Feeds works.
No issues with settings pages here, with WP 6.9, and PHP 8.3x.
You might need to turn on debug and check the error log.
