Hi, Simple Lightbox has been tested in many multi-user environments and no issues were found. What other plugins do you have installed?
The issue you’re reporting does appear to be caused by file permissions in some cases. You may want to check to make sure all WordPress directories and files have the proper permissions.

Once you’ve corrected the file permissions, I would recommend reinstalling Simple Lightbox. Your issue should be resolved.
If not, I would recommend checking for conflicts with other plugins and themes.

Hello,
I’ve read the documentation about changing file permissions. Tough, nowhere I find a list what the permissions should be per file or directory.
Since everything works fine now, I assume all the permissions are good enough (?).
You cannot test it with every plugin, I understand. So maybe it was a conflict. I have this plugins:
– addthis social bookmarking widget
– fast secure contact form
– google analytics for wp
– google sitemap
– nextgen gallery by photocrati
– no page comment
– responsvie lightbox (added after uninstall Simple Lightbox)
– wordpress seo
– yet another social media icon plugin (yasip).
