    A File called service.php keeps being added to wp-admin folder and Wordfence says this file is not distributed with this version of WordPress. version I am running is 6.2.2 I use Godaddy Hosting where I have to keep Deleting the File.

    I keep getting emails saying.

    This email was sent from your website “Decorations By Design” by the Wordfence plugin.

    Wordfence found the following new issues on “Decorations By Design”.

    Hi @cobbydaler, thanks for the detailed message.

    I’ve actually seen very little of this specific file being mentioned as created in /wp-admin.

    It’s hard to say without a sample of the contents so please send a copy of the file (download through FTP or your hosting file manager) to samples @ wordfence .com so our threat intelligence team can take a look and get back to you.

    Remember to obscure/remove any passwords or keys/salts in any files you do send to us.
