hello

I’ve been using protect admin with the alternative login path (not wp-admin). Now I moved the site to another hosting and trying to login with that same address and the error comes

Server error 500
The website encountered an error while retrieving http://www.********.ru/wp-admin/. It may be down for maintenance or configured incorrectly. (name hidden)

How do I treat it? Should I delete the plugin entirely via FTP and try again?

Thanks for contact us.

I want let you know that may be issue can come because you have not updated htaccess file after move it on new hosting, you can access default admin url after disable my plugin. for disable to plugin, you will need only to rename protect-wp-admin folder to any other one. after that first of all you will need to update permalink settings from admin and then you can activate my plugin.
