I ran into an almost identical problem this morning – turned a site that was looking sweet into mush and now not able to lot in to WP Admin page
Do you have a recent backup? It seems you might have either accidentally deleted content or lost it otherwise.
@joeseven: It is impolite to interrupt another poster’s ongoing thread unless you are posting a solution. It also causes significant problems for the forum’s volunteers. Please post your own topic.
I do not even have access to the WP admin page now to check..
Can you login to your hosting account?
Once logged-in there where would I go?
Why would the WP admin page not work by changing a theme?
Themes can, and sometimes do, stop the wp admin area from working correctly. If all else fails, try switching to the Twenty Eleven theme by renaming your current theme’s folder inside wp-content/themes and adding “-old” to the end of the folder name using FTP or whatever file management application your host provides.
How do I switch the theme if I can’t access WP? Obviously not very tech-savvy.
Once logged-in there where would I go?
Look for MySql database and download the last backed up copy. You can also create a current database after downloading the last backup. By checking them you can know if your contents are in tact. You may also seek your hosting company’s support.

Dear Jarrett
Please let us know the hosting account held by you.
Also let us know the ‘guilty theme’, responsible for erratic behavior of your site.
Regards.
