wp-admin too many redirects

    A friend of mine who does not know waz up with WP, Hosting, CPanel, etc.. had this error on the browser every time he tried to go in to his wp-admin:

    Error 310 (net::ERR_TOO_MANY_REDIRECTS): There were too many redirects.

    It did not mater what browser or if he cleared his cookies etc..

    He tried to delete the folder wp-admin and upload a new copy. He also uploaded a new version of WP and he tried to optimize his DB. Not to mentioned he rename the plugin folder etc..

    Here is the fix and is an easy one. Access your root via FTP and delete:

    .htaccess

    All will work.
