Same here. I was installing about 40 minutes ago and the install page wasn’t found. I wonder what is happening.

I’m trying to install WordPress on my server to run the blog from there instead of linking to wordpress.com when I run the installer script as I have before on other sites I keep getting this message (Site is not available). I have set everything up as in the 5min Instillation guide. Any ideas?
I have uploaded the files to the “/” directory.
When I try to run the install.php I get the following error message:
The requested URL /wp-admin/install.php was not found on this server.
I can’t even get to the readme.html file.
Any ideas?

if you can’t get the readme.html then you’re not installed in the correct place

has your domain name had time to propagate? It can take up to 24 hours.
I will try again over the weekend and see if anything comes to life. I take it there is no problems at your end?
don’t use safari. Use firefox
