WP All Import Product Code Issues

    Hi,

    I’m running into issues when trying to import product codes from a csv file using WP All Import.

    I am importing into a custom field ‘_product_code’.

    For simple products, the item code refuses to be imported, it just displays ‘N/A’. When I manually edit the product there is no item code in the ‘Product Code’ field.

    On variable products it will import the product code for the first variation but not any others. The other variations display ‘N/A’. When I manually edit the product there is an item code for the first variation but nothing for the others.

    There is no issue with the import file, all products and variations have a unique code and they are all in the same field which is matched up to ‘_product_code’.

    Any ideas on why this is happening? Seems strange that it works for only the first variations but not for others and not for simple products at all.

    @tnh8965, I am sorry, our PHP developer quit, meaning we no longer have support for this free plugin. Maybe consider searching UpWork to find a WordPress plugin developer to assist with your issue? Hopefully, we will secure a reliable developer in the near future. Thanks.

    This will help us understand what might be causing the product codes not to import properly for simple products and for the variations beyond the first one. It will also allow us to pinpoint any potential settings or configuration issues.
