I’m not sure if this is good idea. Based on the link you have shared this must be cron job which is running daily.
The cleanup process runs once each day.
We need to take into account that more or less sites have many plugin and many other cronjobs are running there as well. If site is large running a long scan daily could be not good for server resources. If you however talk about to check some specific file to check do they appear, maybe we could consider this. I asked our Defender Team to review your query.

This sounds good as well for our developers and we will start tracking requests in this matter. If we will get more requests then there is a higher possibility to implement this.
