According to WP Cerber on their official website they say this about plugins that hide folders and change paths, but I really appreciate your plugin and for the great work and how much it costs to maintain, I just wanted to know your position with this statement on your WP CERBER website

Can I hide the fact I use WordPress?

No. We strongly encourage you not to use any plugin that renames the wp-admin folder to protect a website. Beware of all plugins that hide WordPress folders or other parts of a website and claim this as a security feature. They are not capable to protect your website. Don’t be silly, hiding some stuff doesn’t make your site more secure. If you have an intention to make your site more secure, install the plugin and read this guide: Turn your WordPress into Fort Knox

    Hi,
I’ve taken a look at their website, and I’ve promptly observed some inconsistencies. They claim not to hide WordPress, yet they incorporate features for concealing the login and admin URLs.. It’s just their cheap marketing for selling their own code.

In reality, the situation is quite straightforward: More than 99.99% of website hacks are directed at exploiting vulnerabilities in specific plugins and themes. Concealing these applications effectively shields them from vulnerability exploitation, as they become unsusceptible to targeted attacks. Other security measures are significantly limited in their ability to provide protection because they cannot prevent the exploitation of these vulnerabilities.
    It’s as simple as that.

    Thanks
