Hi, @abhishek1984
When Facebook chat widget loading it sending requests to FB servers so this takes most of the time. On our side compression is enabled and we cannot compress it more.
WebChat takes less time because it does not connect to Facebook.
Because WebChat and Facebook are different apps contacts cannot be shared among them.
If you prefer WebChat you can install mobilemonkey chat mobile app on your phone and be able to respond from there.
From messenger, you can only respond if Facebook chat plugin used on the website.
As for conditional rendering, WP-Chatbot interface allows choosing pages where to show/hide by entering page id.
Or another option you can do it via our main app https://app.mobilemonkey.com/
There you need to Navigate to Website chat -> Chat Widget -> edit editing one and add a condition in step 4, example https://monosnap.com/file/LdsLgKAupMsBFKC3RfbndDtISLDQcC
But does using webchat triggers notification in mobile monkey mobile app?
How can two agents access same mobile app so that either of them can interact since it uses facebook login and that fb page is be linked to only one user at any time? Will webchat would be able to automate respond in the same way as done by fb chatbot?
@abhishek1984,
1. But does using webchat triggers notification in mobile monkey mobile app?
Yes, of course, webchat triggers notifications in mobilemonkey.
2. How can two agents access same mobile app so that either of them can interact since it uses facebook login and that fb page is be linked to only one user at any time?
From app point of view, the first person when sign in they go through onboarding and create a company/connect page.
From the app, you can invite another user to manage the same page.
This means that both users will sign in with their own FB account but manage the same page.
3. Will webchat would be able to automate respond in the same way as done by fb chatbot?
WebChat and Fb chat have the same functionality, they both support automated conversations.
The difference is that to message your business on the website visitor don’t need to have FB accounts.
I wanted to display WP-chatbot icon only on first page. U mentioned 2 method. 1 method with Page ID is not working for me and conditional rendering is PRO feature. Now how ca I do it?
