wp-cli and xml imports

    Hi,
    I’m looking for a way to import standard rss (.xml) file to a WordPress site using wp-cli.
    wp-cli import expects a xml file to be in WordPress eXtended RSS format (like when using the WordPress importer in the admin GUI).
    I’d like to use a standard rss file (like when using the RSS importer in the admin GUI).
