wp-cli import – media?

    Hello,

    Trying to avoid timeout issues importing via WP so will be using wp-cli.

    wp import all.xml –authors=create

    Works however its not pulling any media, how can I use wp-cli to import media for each post as well?

    Hi,

    WP CLI also downloads the media automatically (with your import command).

    The problem may be different. Does your all.xml file contain media files? Are media files available?

    So the attachment in the all.xml file is:
    <wp:attachment_url>https://wpthemetestdata.files.wordpress.com/2008/06/canola2.jpg</wp:attachment_url>
