WP Colorbox – Issue with content

So, I found the WP Colorbox plug-in thinking it would be amazing. For the most part, it is. However, there’s one problem. I’m trying to display external HTML in the lightbox, and it shows up fine, but I can’t click or interact directly with the content. I’m not sure if it’s something on my end or if the plug-in doesn’t allow you to click and interact with the html content. Please, if someone could help me, it would greatly be appreciated.
