WP comment notification modified?

    As an admin of my website I receive standard wordpress notifications when a new comment was written. After installing, setting up and activating of MailPoet3 I noticed that contents and format of my comment notifications did change:
    The “from” field now contains my own name instead of the users name and the mail itself has empty lines after each normal line.

    After deactivating the MailPoet3 plugin new comment notification mails are now okay again.

    Can you please give an advise what to do? Of course, I would like to use MailPoet but I don’t like it to modify some standard functions.

    Hi!

    Most probably this is happening because MailPoet is configured to send the transactional emails of your site.

    Go to MailPoet -> Settings -> Advanced, you change “Send all site’s emails with…” to “The default WordPress sending method (default)”. That should switch the sending method of transactional emails back to WordPress’
