  • It’s not a file that should be normally accessible.
You need to set robots.txt to no-follow your wordpress directory.

cheers m8 I’m a bit bad with this stuff I know how to update my robots.txt file just scarred with what i should put in it.

    Disallow: /wp-comments-post.php

Is that what I should right in my robots.txt ? and thanks alot m8

Probably your best bet is to use a sitemap tool and then submit that sitemap to Google. See if that cures the problem before using robots.txt (a bit of research seems to indicate it’s better to use meta tags anyway).

I am a bit puzzled as Google should know that this file is not directly useful. Are you getting the same error for any others?

Have you submitted an XML sitemap and if so, how did you do it?

I submitted a sitemap long ago I think it was done by the plugin yoast SEO here is the link to the sitemap https://pineappledeficiency.com/sitemap_index.xml. not sure what meta tags are il go look at what those are 😀

    The sitemaps are fine.

I think the error is spurious and probably not worth worrying about.

It’s a very strange error as this file is not called from anywhere.
