    Hi,

Since last 1-2 weeks, many of my website’s wp-config.php file content had gone missing. Empty. (Refer snapshot : https://prnt.sc/VcsCYEjl63ox ).

I don’t know, what caused it?

    Is it because of :

    1. malware (from certain plugins)?
    2. or, any other bugs?

One thing in common, i found that all websites affected are using 6.2.2 latest version. Is that the root-cause?

    Hi,

    Thanks for the info 🙂

I’ve just a got reply from web hosting provider.

They said, it was caused by ‘nulled’ plugin, installed by the webdesigner.

I’m contacting the webdesigner now, and requesting them to fix it (using valid license).

Failingwhich, i will send a legal letter to sue, because, our agreement clearly prohibits them from using nulled/pirated scripts/plugins.

    Thanks

My wp-config.php is missing to since the latest WordPress update.
