    So I created a free blog. without the download. just online.
    http://gratefullost.wordpress.com/
    I do not have wp-content/plugins.
    Ive looked everywhere.. I cant get plugins or find that directory…

    sorry for the noob question but its frustrating me.. I want to install facebook “like” and social media post options… but I cant get any plugins?

    You can’t install plugins on a wordpress.com blog. There are some things that you can do to enhance the blog beyond the basics, but you’ll have to ask in the wordpress.com support forums:

    Also.. I added wp-content/plugins to the end of the blog url.. it loads a blank page…

    So I cant have any facebook options on my blog without paying money to host my blog somewhere else?

    That is technically correct. Like I said, there’s probably a way to add some Facebook functionality as a widget to the sidebar, but the wordpress.com support forums would be the best place to ask that.
