• I would like to activate the WP Core Manager plugin for my website. However, when I did so in wordpress dashboard, wordpress refused to activate it because “Plugin could not be activated because it triggered a fatal error.”

What is the reason behind it? The WP Core Manager version is 1.5.2 (The newest I guess?). But the website for this plugin is down. https://www.wpcoremanager.com/ Is this plugin no longer supported?

    Thanks in advance!

  • What is the reason behind it?

That’s simple and should be obvious: your version of the plugin is no longer compatible with WordPress and/or your hosting environment.

The WP Core Manager version is 1.5.2 (The newest I guess?)

Why guess when you can easily check with a quick googling? The latest version at ww.wp.xz.cn is 1.9.2: https://ww.wp.xz.cn/plugins/wpcore/

But the website for this plugin is down. https://www.wpcoremanager.com/

Seems they merely moved to a shorter domain name: https://wpcore.com

Is this plugin no longer supported?

Unfortunately, no one here can answer that question with certainty 😀

You may contact the plugin’s author directory using their website linked above, or post in the plugin’s dedicated support sub-forum here: https://ww.wp.xz.cn/support/plugin/wpcore/

    Good luck!
