WP-Creativix 2.4 Help Needed

    Hello, I am new to web design and I have a couple of questions. I am using WordPress 3.3.1 and I tried to install the WP-Creativix 2.4 theme but I cannot seem to get anything working on it. I cant get the pages in the menu bar at the top, my site looks NOTHING like the site in the picture. First question – is this theme even compatible with my version of wordpress? Second is there any kind of step by step guide for people who have very limited knowledge to follow for setting up these basic things on a site or does it change for each theme? I switched to the one that comes with the site I guess its 2010 and I got all the titles working and everything but it looks like a basic blog instead of a business site so it isn’t really what I’m looking for.

    Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

    Hi jaimiemarshall,

    I run 3.3.1 and I was able to install the WP-Creativix 2.4 theme. Here’s a link to the theme page first steps (you can skip to Step 5 on that page):

    First Steps with WP-Creativix

    To get your pages to show in the menu bar at the top, go to Appearance > Menus in your WordPress dashboard. Create your navigation menu and then select that menu as your site’s navigation menu (box in upper right of the Menus page titled “Theme Locations”).

    Hi blem,

    Your site is using a different theme (gazpoMag). If you’re having trouble with that theme, I would recommend reviewing any theme documentation or checking with the theme designer for specific instructions for that theme.

    Hello, thanks for the swift response. I am aware that there was another theme installed, gazpoMag, and the reason is that I am building the site these days. Now I installed creativix and leave it until I hear from you.

    Hi Christi (or anyone else),

    I think I may be experiencing the same issue that Blem was. I installed the creativix theme (v2.4 on WP 3.4.2) but it isn’t displaying properly. No images, frames, links are all broken etc.

    I’ve tried about 5 different themes and all the others work perfectly. I have v2.4/3.4.1 of creativix/WP on my local machine and it’s working great. Maybe a compatibility issue with the new WP version?

    Any help would be appreciated.
