I received this reply: as I can see from here it appears that you have database tables with different collations. You should be able to check the table collations with a tool such as PhpMyAdmin or Adminer, and change them if they do not match.
Hi,
thanks for your post, and sorry for the trouble.
Yes, from what I can see, this is not at all related to TablePress. It seems to be caused by something else, maybe another plugin.
Do the words in that error message sound familiar, like C_recepty and C_Stavy?
Regards,
Tobias
Hi,
“C_recepty” – recepty means recipes, C_Stavy – šťávy means juices – it is a post under the Category Juices, that is under the category Recipe.
Can you please tell me more?
Whom should I ask?
Regards,
Milada
Hi,
ok, are you using any special plugins for categories or category management?
I can imagine that your database has problems with the special characters in šťávy for some reason.
Unfortunately, I’m not a database expert, so that I don’t know how to fix this. Can you maybe rename the category to something without accents?
Regards,
Tobias
Hi,
no, I am not. I only have the ThirstyAffiliate plugin, which creates categories of affiliate links, but not for posts.
I already have two other posts in the category “Šťávy” and this problem appeared when entering a third post.

Hi,
hhm, that’s strange then. But as mentioned above, I’m not a database expert, so that I can not really help here 🙁
Mabye you can check the database collation using the suggested tool phpMyAdmin?

Tobias
Hello, thank you, it´s kind of you that you are willing to help, but it has nothing to do with TablePress.
I hope my hosting will help.

Milada
Hi,
yes, that would probably be the best, as they are the experts 🙂
Best wishes,
Tobias
