WP Directory Redirect
-
Site was all set up and everything imported over from Blogger beautifully. We set up a security certificate and made sure the site redirected from www. to https://www … that worked for about 24 hours.
This morning, I clicked on my WP admin login bookmark (http://www.domainname.com/wp-login.php) and the site said it could not be loaded. I noticed that the “/” after the “.com” was missing, so typed that in manually and got into my dashboard. Images weren’t working in Chrome. Opened the blog in Firefox, which gave me the image title as alternative text instead of the broken image graphic that Chrome displays. Clicked on the hyperlink for that and saw that the “/” after the “.com” was missing for images, too.
This leads me to believe the entire WP directory is somehow misdirecting or in error. I’ve disabled all of my plugins. I have not deleted/reinstalled either them or WP yet.
Thoughts on how to fix it?
Thanks!
