WP e-Commerce 3.8.9

    I just installed WP e-Commerce 3.8.9 and it messed up thumbnail presentation in grid views on theme Echo of storefront themes. I know that installing the update changed the database but I was wondering if there was any way to return to 3.8.8.5?
    I tried to reinstall 3.8.8.5 after deleting 3.8.9 but it would not install.
    Any ideas?
