WP E-commerce Members Only module

    The people I’m making the site for want people to be able to save their credit card information rather than have to reenter it each time they make a purchase.

    I am considering using the Members Only module for WP E-commerce but am not sure that it can do credit card retention. The site at http://www.instinct.co.nz/e-commerce hint at this but the true download site at getshopped.org does not explicitly say this.

    Nor do they seem to want you to email them. Even the FAQ wants you to pay before they will even show you if this is a possibility. Does anyone know if this module allows this?

    Not possible using the stock plugin.

    WP e-Commerce uses third-party payment gateways, so the WPEC cart never sees the card number.

    This is the SAFEST way to run a cart. When you store other people’s card number you suddenly become liable for what happens to the card numbers – AND – you must comply with the credit card industry PCI Payment Standards, which are tough!
