WP Editorial Calendar Not Posting

I want to schedule posts using the WP editorial calendar plug-in but every time I schedule a post it does not post it. It just keeps telling “missed”. Its been so long since this plug-in has worked….I can’t actually remember a time it did work, but everyone says its a great plugin for scheduling posts so I would love to get it to work properly.
