    Hi there,

we have editors on our WP site that can also create and edit pages of the website. Even tho editors is the highest rank except administration, users with the editors role do not have access to course creation etc. of MS LMS. Is there any possibility to give editors access to MS LMS course creation/editiing?

The only solution for this right now, is to give those editors a second account with the role of course instructors. Because with that role, they are no longer able to edit other pages of the website.

    Greetings

    Hello dear,

Thank you for the clarification of the question, we do appreciate it!

Only the admin and Instructors are able to create LMS courses in the MS LMS plugin by default. Other users with other user roles won’t be able to create courses from their end. There is no option to provide courses creations for other user roles in the LMS settings by default

Just a hint for other users facing the same problem: with a member management plugin like MemberPress you can give one user multiple roles. So the user can be an “editor” and “instructor” at the same time.
