    Can you please describe more about your question, you talking about recent event widget or upcoming widget or else ?

    Hi Ashok, this is for upcoming events widget. Here is the website: https://03f9b89.netsolhost.com/wordpress1/.

    We need it sorted by event date, from the soonest to the latest. So in our development website right now, CMSC 2017 Annual Meeting should be on top and Jenn’s Bday should be below it.

    Great to know! We will add ascending and descending order selection in widget in new version and it will launch today or tomorrow.

    Released new version and now you can select ascending or descending sort by date for widget.

    I updated the plugin. It didn’t work for the Upcoming Events but it worked ok for Recent Events.

    You have set order in widget for upcoming events ?

    Yes, the widget I initially used was for upcoming events. I was expecting that the earlier date would be displayed first. Example, if the events are in April 2017, June 2017, January 2018, they will be displayed as such.

    I only had two test data and they were displayed with a later event on top (June 2017) and the earlier date (May 2017) below it.

    I tried both ASC and DESC but the information didn’t change.

    So I switched to Recent Events and it worked.

    Yes, we are testing and working on that and we will release soon new version for ASC and DESC stuff.

    Sort date problem solved. as you given Example, if the events are in April 2017, June 2017, January 2018, they will be displayed as such.

    Please update with new version.
