    1. Export from existing WP site (yes, dear internets, “Export All”)

    2. Import to new site, with download and import media option

    3. Notice that all of your “Media has falied to import” and the Media Library is completely empty

    4. Repeat several times from step 1

    n. Eventually, give up. Manually re-upload and re-link images on 200+ posts. Sad lack of support for this tool. Migrations Happen.
