WP Gallery Issue

    Hi Ben —

    Running Drop, it doesn’t seem to support standard WP gallery column shortcodes. For example:

    [gallery columns="3" ids="24,28,27,26,25"]

    Regardless of the numeral for the columns value, Drop insists on placing thumbnails in a single column straight down the page. Any ideas? Thanks!

    Hi Sabrina,

    Thanks for notifying me of this issue. If you download and activate this child theme on your site, it will fix the gallery formatting issue: download Drop child theme.

    To activate the child theme:

    1. Visit your site’s dashboard
    2. Go to the Appearance menu
    3. Click on the “Add New” button at the top of the page
    4. Click on the “Upload Theme” button at the top of the page
    5. Click on the “Choose File” button
    6. Select the drop-child.zip file you downloaded from the link above
    7. Click “Install Now”
    8. Once the page reloads, click the blue “activate” link

    If you’re using a custom menu, you will need to re-select its location from the Menus page, but otherwise that should do the trick 🙂
