    Hi there,

    our agency faced an issue with the plugins WP Go Maps (formerly WP Google Maps) (v9.0.19) and WP Google Maps – Pro Add-on (v8.1.20) where map markers wont show up with enabled All In One WP Security (v5.2.1).

    We have 2 API requests with a 403 error:
    – /wp-json/wpgmza/v1/features/?filter={“map_id”%3A”1″%2C”mashupIDs”%3A[]%2C”customFields”%3A[]}
    – /wp-admin/admin-ajax.php?filter={“map_id”%3A”1″%2C”mashupIDs”%3A[]%2C”customFields”%3A[]}&route=%2Ffeatures%2F&action=wpgmza_rest_api_request

    The 403 response only appears with enabled All In One WP Security – the option for blocking REST API requests is disabled. (Disallow unauthorized REST requests:).

    Even after disabling all security features in All In One WP Security brings no difference.

    Could you please provide us support on this matter?

    Hi @pantaloon

    If you have WP Security > Miscellaneous > WP REST API – Disallow unauthorized REST requests already disabled and still issue with any other plugin.

    Please make sure below features are also disabled, mostly conflict with other plugins are due to one of below.

    1) Deny bad query string – WP Security > Firewall > Addition firewall rules tab. Deny bad query strings: uncheck the checkbox and save
    2) Advanced char filter – WP Security > Firewall > Addition firewall rules tab. Enable advanced character string filter :uncheck the checkbox and save
    3) 5g firewall rules – WP Security > Firewall > 6G Blacklist firewall rules tab. Enable legacy 5G firewall protection uncheck the checkbox and save
    4) 6g firewall rules – WP Security > Firewall > 6G Blacklist firewall rules tab. Enable 6G firewall rules – uncheck the checkbox and save

    Can you please let me know which particular setting disabled make it work?

    It might be not all. If possible try disable only one at once and cross check. That way you have only conflict security setting disabled not all and also in future if any one have issue and come to this post only disable that feature only not all 4 of them if not required.

    This one was the option i had to change:

    3) 5g firewall rules – WP Security > Firewall > 6G Blacklist firewall rules tab. Enable legacy 5G firewall protection uncheck the checkbox and save
