@asbplanet while I don’t know how the “WP Hide and Security” plugin is altering files, one thing is for sure: once you mark a file to be unloaded via Asset CleanUp, its handle name (which should be unique and never changed by any other plugin out there), will be used to deregister and dequeue the CSS/JS, thus, it should not be loaded by the “WP Hide and Security” plugin.
Also, the renaming of the files should be done by creating separate versions of those files (just like Asset CleanUp stores them in a caching directory such as /wp-content/cache/asset-cleanup/), not altering the original source file from plugins and the theme, but I’m quite certain that the plugin you’re referring to does this, otherwise, it would be a mess in many ways with the way files are organized in your WordPress site.
I will check this plugin as it seems that it’s used by plenty of people to make sure there aren’t any compatibility issues with Asset CleanUp.
I installed WP Hide and then changed name of the files in plugin s options, for example ABC.css to Biden .and when I installed your plugin your plugin was not showing files there was loader sign. After this issue I uninstalled WP Hide plugin and your plugin start working now I have unload many files by your plugin but did not installed WP Hide and Security Plugin but I am doubtful that your plugin might stop working.
