WP HTTP Error: Couldn't resolve host 'ww.wp.xz.cn'

    Hello.

    I get this error in the dashboard

    "RSS Error: WP HTTP Error: Couldn't resolve host 'ww.wp.xz.cn'"

    When I try to search for a plugin I get this error :

    "An unexpected error occurred. Something may be wrong with ww.wp.xz.cn or this server’s configuration. If you continue to have problems, please try the support forums."

    When I try to update a plugin,I get this error :

    Downloading update from http://downloads.wp.xz.cn/plugin/easy-theme-and-plugin-upgrades.1.0.4.zip…

    Download failed. Couldn’t resolve host ‘downloads.wp.xz.cn’

    I have seen a lot of questions related to this error in the forum,but no specific solution.

    Kindly help me in this issue.

    Your hosts may be blocking requests to external sites. Have you tried asking them about it?

    Yes,I have asked them and they said they are not blocking

    Have you tried:

    – deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    – switching to the Twenty Eleven theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.

    – resetting the plugins folder by FTP or PhpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.

    – re-uploading all files & folders – except the wp-content folder – from a fresh download of your current version of WordPress.

    Thanks @media X.
    The problem is caused with Ewww image optimizer plugin.
    Deactivated it.
