thanks for the link, but I tried that already:
* Email doesn’t work, I never receive a mail
* I’m on a PC, so I don’t think I can use the MySQL-command line
* Changing the functions.php using FileZilla didn’t work either
* As I wrote, I also tried the emergency script, through which I can reset the password, but I still can’t log in with the new password.
tl;dr I reset the password using the emergency script but still can’t log in.

Oh, sorry, it’s still the same problem with the login screen.
I can change the password in the MySQL database, but I can’t use the new password to log in.
Is it possible that the wp-login.php got broken by moving to root?
The odd thing is, that even I never get any feedback (e.g. “worng password”) even when I leave the user/pw fields empty.
So I assume, the problem is not actually with the password, but with the wp-login. Is there any way to check this? Would uploading a newer version of wp-login.php change solve anything?
Is it actually saying incorrect username or password?
Are you editing the right database?

no, it’s not saying/doing anything.
I strongly assume I’m editing the right database, as it’s the only wordpress database on the server and has the right user in it.

Добрый день! Прошу помощи, я новичек, и может не в тему..
Год назад сделала сайт, сейчас он мне нужен но я почему то, не могу зайти в админ панель, то есть не появляется окошко для логина и пароля.
ВВожу wp-login.php и пустое окошко..
(Напомните, а нужно ли установить вордпресс, чтоб зайти в админ панель)
И еще не помню домен покупается навсегда, или нет? Я его купила, но не знаю нужно его снова проплачивать как хостинг. Спасибо
