I am getting ready to launch my wp-mail-man plugin an about a week. I didn’t know that there was already a plugin named that but it looks like who ever was building stopped so…
You can find info on it at http://www.linksback.org and it will also be in the main wordpress plugin database!
@peanutpad: That sounds excellent. I am looking for a WordPress plugin that can import a Mailman mailinglist as an RSS feed. I am looking forward to the release of your plugin and what it will do.

the good old web archive has the text but not the file – i tried to contact the author – we´ll see if he answers my request for the file.
Hi all, I’m suprised to find my little plugin on quite a number of websites 🙂
wp-mailman solved a very particular problem that I’ve had while setting up a website that features a mailman-enabled mailing list: Every WP user should automatically subscribe to a list, too. wp-mailman does this, although it lacks a number of features that I’d like to see before I actually call it generally applicable. In particular, I never updated it to the latest WP changes like the sidebar or translated it.
It might however be a good starting point if somebody has the need to further integrate WP and mailman. I started by moving my latest code into the WordPress subversion repository, accessible at http://svn.wp-plugins.org/mailman/trunk/
HTH,
Christian
How do I download the files http://svn.wp-plugins.org/mailman/trunk/ (I assume these are newer than the ones I downloaded from
http://ww.wp.xz.cn/extend/plugins/mailman/ ?
I’ve got that version so the mailman version is being correctly detected.
Mailman homedir: /usr/local/cpanel/3rdparty/mailman/
Mailman version: 2.1.9.cp2
Somehow it is not listing out the lists on the options page still.
I’m using WP 2.2.2
: )
